The Bark Eater Series

OK Slips Falls outside North Creek NY. One of the largest water falls in the Adirondacks

The English translation of the Mohican word Adirondack is Bark Eater. It was used to describe the Algonquins who survived on eastern white pine bark when food was scarce. The term Bark Eater captures the no-surrender, free-spirited attitude of the residents, visitors and wild life of the Adirondacks. Bark Eater Outfitters is a project inspired by the Adirondacks and we proudly support the sustainability of life inside the blue line. A portion of proceeds from The Bark Eater Series will go towards an organization called Birth To Three Alliance.
